To satisfy her passion for diverse roles and continuous learning, Manager Ayça Güralp loves to conduct research, oversee project operations, and engage the futures community at IFTF. She likes to work on projects that have a social impact, especially if they're on the futures topics of democratic inclusion or environmental sustainability. She also enjoys her work leading the community engagement activities of IFTF Foresight Essentials, IFTF's educational arm. For this she produces the IFTF Foresight Talks webinars, the monthly Foresight Essentials Newsletter, and the Foresight Practitioner Meet-Ups for alumni.
Before IFTF, Ayça supported the administration of MapLight, a leading nonprofit in exposing the corruptive influence of money in American politics. She started her career in coordinating international programs in the Middle East, which includes founding a peace and arts nonprofit in Istanbul and coordinating Turkey's first graduate program in peace and conflict studies. Ayça holds a master's degree in conflict resolution from Georgetown University and a double bachelor's degree in anthropology and international studies from University of North Carolina.
