Debra France, Ed.D., is the founder of Fostering Innovation, a consultancy providing executive development and organizational consulting focused on the skills, processes and practices that drive continuous innovation. Dr. France served as a corporate learning leader for several innovative organizations, including: Dell Computer, SEMATECH (semiconductor manufacturing research consortium), Barnes and Noble, and W. L. Gore & Associates (inventor of Gore-Tex fabrics). In these roles, she developed leaders and innovators, facilitated innovation teams, co-designed advanced organizational practices for innovation environments, and documented characteristics of successful innovation leaders. Debra earned her doctorate from Columbia University in Leadership and Organizational Learning with a dissertation on cultural practices that support innovation. She is an International Coaching Federation certified coach and an alumna of IFTF Foresight Essentials.
